How Inkwise works
Inkwise is a Singapore-only archive of tenant experiences. We cover HDB and private condo rentals across Singapore.
Verification
Reviewers can optionally upload a copy of their lease to earn a Verified badge. We read the Singapore address, the unit, the tenancy dates, and the monthly rent to cross-check against URA and HDB records. Names, NRIC numbers, and signatures are not read. The document is discarded from public view after extraction. Reviews without a lease document go through human moderation before publication. We never display your name, your email, or any handle alongside your review — reviews are fully anonymous to readers.
Reviews attach to buildings, not people
We don't host landlord or agent profiles, and we don't publish unit-level information. Reviews attach to the building address. This keeps the focus on the question that matters to the next tenant — what was it like to actually live here — and avoids singling out individuals or enabling retaliation.
Structured reviews + AI moderation
Reviewers answer fixed questions covering landlord responsiveness, repairs, entry notice, listing accuracy, deposit fairness, building condition, and facilities. The optional free-text comment is screened by AI before publication for personal information, naming of individuals, and unverifiable allegations. Statements that allege criminal conduct, name specific people, or read as opinion stated as fact are rejected and returned to the reviewer for editing.
What we ask reviewers to avoid
Honest, specific descriptions of your own experience help future tenants. Personal attacks, slurs, accusations of crime, or claims about a landlord's character that you cannot substantiate do not — and we will not publish them. Before submitting, every reviewer agrees to the Community Guidelines confirming their review is genuine and free of hate speech or defamatory content.
